It includes requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks, tailored to the organization’s needs. The standard is generic and applicable to all organizations, regardless of type, size, or nature. It preserves the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information by applying a risk management process and gives interested parties confidence that risks are adequately managed.
After completing this training, you will be able to identify and interpret the key requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2022. You will understand how to establish the organization’s context, demonstrate leadership commitment, plan actions to address risks and opportunities, perform information security risk assessments and risk treatments, and set measurable information security objectives. You will also recognize the importance of support processes, operational planning and control, performance evaluation, internal audit, management review, and continual improvement. You will be familiar with the structure and purpose of Annex A (normative) controls.
